I'll (Still) Be Home for Christmas
Updated: Aug 12, 2021
As the Christmas holiday rapidly approaches, the interval between Thanksgiving and Christmas 2020 being only 29 days, so does the “rush” to get everything decorated, delivered, and done. With the “rush” so often comes frustration and anxiety, and for some, even so much frustration and anxiety that the Joy of Christmas becomes the Dread of Christmas.
This rings particularly true in the chaotic year we've all endured. In spite of attempts to minimize repeating the dread another year through advanced planning and scheduling, for many, the anxiety associated with the entire season ruins the Joy of the Season. So, what are the options… refuse to participate, take a month-long vacation to a locale where no one knows you, medicate with prescription drugs that make you feel numb?
Another option – one that has potential to restore enjoyment in the Christmas season and in scientific studies has shown benefit – consider augmenting your own body’s system of balance and healing ( he endocannabinoid system) by using CBD. Specifically, a pure and analytically tested CBD, like Formula30A.
Numerous studies (and the number is rapidly increasing) demonstrate a clear and significant benefit in neuropsychiatric disorders stemming from the diverse central nervous system actions of Cannabidiol (CBD). With regard to anxiety, studies show benefit in general anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. One such study from the University of Colorado demonstrated decreased anxiety scores within the first month of use in nearly 80% of the participants.
And with the Christmas season full of potential anxiety-provoking social encounters, a study done to evaluate the effect of CBD on anxiety related to public speaking demonstrated significant reduction in social anxiety. These studies show the benefit of consistent daily use of CBD as well as the situational benefit in anxiety reduction.
So with the Christmas season already upon us, my professional advice as a physician is take Formula30A to get ahead of the stressful anxiety and change the season from dread to JOY!
